Shaista Ashraf Foundation for Education (SAFE) has conducted a baseline desk study of education systems in Pakistan to determine causes of decline in education standards and a way forward for the Foundation. Key shortcoming identified were:

• Values and Ethics,  
• Religious harmony,  
• Respect for the teacher,  
• Respect for knowledge, 
• Learning by research rather then class room lectures and  
• Life skills  

A concentrated and dedicated effort to revamp the education curriculum and delivery system for education and knowledge is required. Focus is to bring back We will endeavorto make students a better citizen once then move from education to practical life.

Currently we are:

• Providing one off support for books, uniforms, fees etc. 
• Providing scholarships to needy students. 
• Conduct research to develop complete system of education based on principles and methods of education practiced by successful Islamic scholars in collaboration with Akhuwat Parwaz (an initiative by Akhuwat Foundation).
